
With the low home prices as bait, investors have been biting! According to a study performed by Move, Inc., investors are expected to outnumber homebuyers 3-1 in the next couple of years.
An analysis of hundreds of real estate markets by Inman News has determined the top markets for real estate investors based on the median sales prices, loan information, foreclosure sales, population and the unemployment rate. The top five cities across the nation starting with the top city is Indianapolis-Carmel, Ind., Winchester, Va., Gainesville, Fl., Tucson, Ariz. and, coming in at number five, Tallahassee, Fl.
The Inman News analysis also concluded that 52% of the investors that were surveyed would be "somewhat likely" to purchase a second investment property in the next two years.
